Anti Aging Skin Care Product Lies - Don't Buy Another Product Until You Read This

Is it too much to ask to just get the truth? When we buy an anti aging skin care product, we want to get results. We want our skin to be smoother, more elastic and better toned. We don't want to waste our time and money on products that don't work.

But, that's precisely what happens to many of us. We keep trying products until we're lucky enough to find one that works. In the process, we kiss a lot of frogs and spend a lot of money. And, we waste a lot of time...all because we buy into the marketing hype and the latest and greatest gimmick ingredient.

But, when it comes down to it, there's really only a few thing that really work to give you younger looking skin. There's only a handful of ingredients that can really reverse the aging process. So, to be effective, anti aging skin care products must have those ingredients that are proven to address the problems that lead to visible aging.

Our skin ages for three reasons:

1. We lose the collagen and elastin that we had in abundance during our youth.

2. A key ingredient that is vital in tissue repair, called hyaluronic acid, goes down as we age.

3. Our skin gets damaged by free radicals.

By knowing the primary causes of aging in the skin, we can look at the best approach to reversing that problem and avoiding future issues. First, we must stimulate the regrowth of the collagen and elastin that we have lost. Over time, this regrowth of collagen and elastin will cause your wrinkles will to be noticeably less visible and then slowly start to disappear.

One important ingredient for regrowing collagen and elastin is keratin. The problem is that so many anti aging skin care products that use keratin, put it through a manufacturing process that uses high temperatures and acids. In effect, this can weaken the effectiveness of this very important ingredient. Look for a skin care product that does not use a process called hydrolization, because this process is bad for keratin.

Next, we want an anti aging product that will increase the level of hyaluronic acid in our bodies so that our skin tissue is better able to repair itself. There's a clinically proven effective product that does this. It's called Phytessence Wakame, and it's a naturally occurring kelp which is found in the ocean. Phytessence Wakame has been a secret of Japanese women for hundreds of years and is know in Japan as an effective anti aging cure.

One of the key reasons that Phytessence Wakame is so effective is that Phytessence Wakame promotes hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid creates the "glue" that binds collagen and elastin together. Without this effect, our skin gets less firm and more weathered looking.

Lastly, we are subject to increasing damage from free radicals everyday. No, these aren't some political protesters, these are highly charged oxygen molecules that break down important elements of our bodies cells. When this happens, we are prone to many diseases as well as wrinkles and aging of the skin. Too many free radicals, and our skin starts too look much older than our actual age.

A way to protect against free radicals is to use a topical form of Co-enzyme Q10. This is a very powerful antioxidant that has been clinically proven to improve the appearance of skin and give it a more youthful glow. Make sure this is in any anti aging skin care product you plan to use.

These are just some of the important things to look for in a anti aging product. To find out about a few other critical, highly effective ingredients that can make your skin look younger and healthier, and get some skin care product recommendation, visit my skin care site
