The AIM Remarkable Excellences

The Asian Institute of Management, Philippines -pioneer world class graduate school of management in Asia, established in 1968 in partnership with Harvard Business School, proudly announce the Institute’s Remarkable Excellences:

1. The Asian Institute of Management is Top Asia-Pacific Business School in Beyond Grey Pinstripes 2007 Survey. The AIM ranked 42nd out of 111 world business schools released by the Aspen Institute Center for Business Education (CBE) on October 10, 2007. AIM beat prestigious international schools such as INSEAD, IMD, HEC Paris, MIT Sloan, and IESE. There were only 3 Asia-Pacific Business Schools among the list, which named the following after AIM:

- National University of Singapore (ranked 88)

- Curtin Business School (ranked 91)

2. BusinessWeek’s 2006 Full-Time MBA Program Rankings listed AIM among the 18 worldwide best international business schools for Non-US category, named AIM as the only one international business school from Asia.

3. BusinessWeek’s 2005 Executive Education Rankings listed AIM among the 45 worldwide best international business schools for Non-US Category, determined the top providers of tailor-made executive programs for companies and the top providers of open-enrollment courses for executives.

4. AsiaWeek’s Full-Time MBA Program Rankings listed AIM at the TOP 3 among the 46 best business schools in Asia Pacific.

7. The Asian Institute of Management is referred to as the Harvard of the East because it was established in partnership with Harvard Business School and because it uses Harvard teaching methodologies.

8. Awarded dual accreditation by the American AACSB (Association of Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and the European EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) - which marked AIM as one of only three schools in Asia to receive this dual honor and put AIM at par with the best US and European MBA Schools.

9. The first graduate school of management in the world to be awarded ISO 14001 Certification for its Environmental Management System.

10. In January 2004, The Asian Development Bank has designated AIM as a center of excellence and a collaborator in delivering programs that cultivate progress in Asian societies.

11. Honored with the 1st Beyond Grey Pinstripes Award for Business School Innovation in Social Impact Management in 2001; and singled out AIM for Excellence in Integration in Core Curriculum in 2003.

12. Selected by the World Bank in October 2002 as its strategic partner in Asia with the establishment of the AIM-World Bank Global Distance Learning Center. This makes AIM the first private management education institution in the world to partner with the World Bank.

13. Received the 1995 Ramon Magsaysay Award, the Asian equivalent of the Nobel Prize, for its role in promoting international understanding and setting region-wide standards for excellence.
